I've been lobbying to have Jimmy's #34 retired for years, to no avail. When Mike Dunleavy was a junior, I ran into Nan K. in the concourse during halftime of a game and suggested to her that, should Dunleavy earn a jersey retirement the following year that it be a double retirement ceremony for JS too. She thought that was an interesting idea (I'm sure she was just being polite ). But of course, Dunleavy didn't cooperate with that plan anyway.
    Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

Too bad we moved from Atlanta... someone would love to see him being honored.

Question If my eyes don't deceive me...

The Duke blue menu above (the one with UserCP, Register, FAQ, ...," etc...) now has COMMUNITY instead of MEMBERS. Interesting change. When did this happen?

Any other changes/enhancements in the offing?

    Cheers,
    Lavabe

How about the little button entitled "New Posts?"

Or have I been so ignorant that I never noticed it before now?

I hadn't noticed that before. Is that getting us closer to the neighborhood bar feel?

OK - you've been a little bit asleep on this. It was first mentioned on 12/22/08:

Yes, a little sign saying that something new's been posted on a thread.

Seems like that might get a bit of a workout on the LTE as we hit new milestones.

    I kind of like that.

Good (read: entertaining) fortunes I used to get in fortune cookies would be taped at the top of my computer monitor. I haven't had a fortune cookie in ages, though, so no fortunes.

And now you can answer my Zzzzzzzzzz question. How do you know if you've been given an infraction? Do they send you a message and tell you what you did wrong? Or do I just watch for a yellow flag to fly through the air?

You get a PM, and it tells you the category of the infraction and the associated points.

Thank you. I've wondered about that and the Clean Up thread made me think about it even more.

Just wanted to share... today was Sue's Semi-Meltdown Day. I had to pull my boss in.

I feel a little better but I still have a ton to do and I'm still out on an island.

I'm glad it was only a semi-meltdown day. I hope tomorrow is better and a that a bridge gets built to help you off the island.

You just holler if your 6'7" brother needs to put people in their places.

FWIW, I could have Georgia nip them in their shins.
