Mine was an orange pekoe that I'm no longer able to find.

Until I just found it on Amazon.

I had to look that up. 2 12 oz sodas a day. The rest water. I used to drink twice that.

Oolongs tend to be low in caffeine. Hmmm...

    Why?

I'm not. I drink 2-4 cups of black tea a day. I ain't cutting back!

My go-to caffeine delivery vehicle is a cup of Barry's Gold Label. I have lots of other teas, but when I'm having my first or second cup of the morning, it's almost always Barry's unless I run out. Which reminds, I ran out yesterday. Today I brewed loose tea, Cardullo's Blend by Harney & Son's. (I think it's Harney & Son's.) Cardullo's is a local specialty food shop that sells imported teas, coffes, candy, and looks like it has a wonderful deli but I only ever go in for tea and candy. I'll have to try that deli once the world starts looking like a reasonable facsimile of its former self.

    Maybe?

A Ymmm, Pancakes thread has also been suggested.

Not a tea drinker. We should be more inclusive and make a ymm, caffeine thread.

Being the good young Irishman that he is, SonPK loves Irish Breakfast Tea.

A few weeks ago, Mrs.PK went to the store and got English Breakfast Tea by mistake. When my son pointed this out, Mrs.PK said -- "what's the difference?"

    They haven't spoken since.

But has he tried Scottish Breakfast tea?

Local chain grocery stores have started carrying Barry's but for many years, I went to the convenience store in Brighton that specializes in Irish imports to get it (and they are still the only ones that carry Barry's decaf). In Ireland, Barry's is like Lipton's which kinda proves that Ireland is better than most of the rest of the world.

April was indeed the long dark teatime of the soul. May is slightly less so. I'm not drinking less tea, but I'm not feeling quite so angsty about the world.

My April was fine, May has been much rougher. Covid-19 hasn’t had a huge impact here in San Antonio, but the reality of 6 weeks in quarantine with no end in sight took a toll.

I decided to use margin of victory in seeding the quarterfinals in my Facebook favorite Shakespeare play tournament which lead to Hamlet squaring off against Macbeth in the quarterfinals. UPSET!! Macbeth won by one vote. Although, now that it's happened, I'm kinda glad Hamlet won't win, that's so predictable.

Is that how the knitters would do it?

Who, Macbeth or Hamlet? Macbeth - at the end, sure. Hamlet - I'd say no.

Hmmm, well, that’s a good question.
