Ahh, within sniffing distance of Lavabe again. But, as the saying goes, unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes.

As Will Ferrell said in Talladega Nights:

    SHAKE AND BAKE!!

    Let's go, partner!

    Cheers,

Rooney, it seems, turns to something a little different to restore his pluck.

Yep, that places him a close #2 in the list of people who with their more recent actions have destroyed my cherished childhood memories.

#1, of course, is George Lucas.

Damn. Speaking of pluck, he looks more like Dr. Jenning in that photo.

Two possible names for puppy Lavabe-to-be: Walker and Texas Ranger.

I'd bet those are non-starters with ILJ.

No to any common human names... and no to Spanarkel.

Neither GMan nor Bucky will work. If it's a female dog, I think there's a good chance we'll name it either Abby or Georgia (your suggestion).

I wonder if we could name it after a DBR poster?
    Cheers,
    Lavabe

How about naming the dog after one of your favorite Bond characters? They tend not to be common names.

You could just go with a good strong name - Duke. Dukie while a puppy.

I don't think ILJ will go for Bambi or Thumper either.

Or Galore either...no offense intended TG.

OK - I'm in love - Antonio Banderas dancing the tango. Sorry, BD, but he beats Clooney in this case.

Wow, you don't see a lot of Clooney / Banderas comparisons. There's a reason for that, you know.

You don't have to be sorry on my account. If I can knock out the competition I'm all for it, more George for me!

Can't say as I blame her.

Not offended. Wasn't thinking of the Lavabe's naming their pup after me.

There are tons of other names that can be used. Felix, as in Felix Leiter. Domino, the list goes on.

Probably is a reason - but Antonio is on TV right now and George isn't plus he has the accent going for him.
