I will be spending April 8, 2024 in Burlington, Vermont. I picked Burlington before I had two kids decide to go to school there. Note to self: ask at the hotel where I usually stay when I go up there when they start taking reservations for April 8, 2024. I've told my sons they will all be joining me, no matter where life has taken them by then.

Good lord, the end of that half was painful.

The end of the game was also awful.

P.S. Yes, I did suggest that Vandy was going to lose in OT.

I drove up to Newberry, SC with MrsPK and SonPK. Absolutely, bar none, one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

You think — “yeah, how cool could it really be?” And then you see it.

Have not picked out where I’ll be, but as a kid we went skiing in Burlington a lot. Maybe we’ll meet you there!

Is there a significance to this date I am missing?

I love Burlington. Lived there for 18 months. Amazing town.

Stuck home waiting for a repair guy today.

These morning news shows are really awful. And really loud.

I'm having car troubles. Been carpooling with the fiancee to work this week.

Might be time to put 'ole Wojo down...and to buy a Taco!

I never understood the purpose of a Dickey. I lump that in with leisure suits, corduroy pants, and velour shirts.

Add an orange shag rug and a lava lamp, and then turn on The Mod Squad.

Hard to explain the Seventies in a way that sounds rational, really.

    It's a Fleetwood Mac morning.

I've said this here on the deeber before but it bears repeating:

The Seventies were remarkable for the unification across race, creed and the sexes concerning the complete and utter breakdown in hair sensibility. No one escaped without a trove of unnerving memories surrounding their hair.

Hell, the Eighties only served to further the addiction.

Thinking about buying a manual Tacoma, but I'm embarrassed to admit I've never driven a manual. I think after a few YouTube videos I should be able to roll off the lot, right?

I still miss my manual transmission. I think you should go for it. Here is your first lesson.
