That particular animal is exempt. But first, they must be tenderized by pummeling them unmercifully, then they can be devoured.

Right. Notice that the frequency of my posts has slowed a bit...

You've got that mixed up - vodka for cooking, bourbon for drinking!

Well, at least I used vodka tonight, for a tomato-vodka-cream-spicy pasta sauce.

Ymmm, lemoncello is yummy. I was introduced to that, along with aqua vit, a couple of years ago by some Danish friends. Dangerous stuff, goes down quite easily.

Has this particular recipe made an appearance in the recipe thread? It sounds good!

I doubt we'll ever learn the real story about EJ's crush on this character.

And speaking of characters, I, too, am intrigued by BD's description of Heartbreak Hill. Any chance you'll post a copy somewhere for reading?

There's an Italian restaurant in LR that bottles and sells Cream of Lemoncello that is made from an old family recipe. It's quite good.

I don't have a recipe - I just kind of wing it. It includes sauteed finely-diced onions & garlic, a healthy bit of red pepper flakes, diced tomatoes and vodka - cook until soft & mushy; puree if you like, add cream, warm up, and viola.

I think, to help Lavabe train Georgia in appropriate, well-directed "approved destructive behavior," we should all chip in for one of these:

(I feel rather dirty about having had to go looking for the item; I think I may have picked up a computer virus or something. Time to go clean out my cookies and run a malware scan... )

To save you from browsing there...

Hmm, the embedded image didn't work - trying to attach here:

Doesn't that look like something that Georgia should really tear into?

December 13 so I missed that too. I'm on the lookout. Maybe next year.

Me too, you really should warn a girl.

By the way, watched some of Out of Sight on the TV this evening. I'm still in love with George Clooney. Happy sigh.
