I better call Mom and Dad and tell them the jabberwock got out again.

We've had a lot of coyotes around here, so they have probably had them around their house, too. They are building a new elementary school off Scott King, near Army Corps of Engineers land, so I think a lot of animals have been displaced. Been hearing even more owls than usual.
On a completely different note, I just had to pick margarita salt out of my keyboard. It was a long Friday.
Dang! High wind warning in my neck of the woods today; I didn't get through unscathed. Or I should say my house didn't. A branch speared my roof, punching a clean, 2" hole. Fortunately it's above an eave, so even if my quickie patch leaks, it won't leak into the house. It happened once before, 20 years ago when, when my roof was 10 feet lower.
(Feel free to substitute something else for "Dang". I certainly did.)

The baby and women folk are in bed. That's when executive time happens. Tonight that means cookies and milk and Predator. Lookin' good, Dutch. Lookin' good.
She had a very good year and made some good friends, one of whom she is moving into an apartment with next year. Hope Daughter PK made some friends and they all return to normal soon!
What genre is Predator? Action/Thriller/Science Fiction/Horror
Dug in like an Alabama tick. Classic.
Up at 4:30 to start the brisket.
Not bad now, but it will hit me right after lunch . . . .
I like UB40. I don’t care what anyone says.
