Uh-oh, did we miss 1-2AM PDT? (4-5EDT?) Or was that covered at the start of the 24 hours?

Sorry I missed it -- was actually headsdown in a work item. What the heck am I still doing at work?!?

That's it, I'm not coming in until around 11AM tomorrow. (God, I love flexible hours!!!)

Wow! Congratulations and thank yous to everyone who contributed to this amazing deed. A special thank you to 2535, who went into a PW frenzy throughout the wee hours of this 24 hour period. Did you really post something like 60 posts in a day?

That got me to thinking: what's the record for most number of posts in a non-Duke-football/basketball day?

    24/7 Cheers,
    Lavabe

There was a phenomenon a few years back where someone would text a location just a few minute before hand. Everyone would congregate there for a few minutes and then disperse. A "flash mob" maybe, I don't remember what it was called. Would something like that work here?

I'll have to work on that the next several days. You did however draft a couple other PW professionals for a while, Lavabe and Ymo

Same as I paid last year with a 5% bonus for meritorious PW'ing.

    Oh geez, it's September 11th.

It's my day to say a prayer for Pete Ortale.

This thread keeps showing up in my inbox. Do "thread subscriptions" never run out? I never check it, so I assume that's the case. Does anybody know?

Not complaining, just curious, I know I can unsubscribe anytime.

p.s. 191 pages!! Wow-- strong work, folks!

The pain isn't that bad, thus will suck it up so I can continue to enjoy my one cup of coffee/day and chocolate. If it does get worse then I'll look into the whole caffeine thing.

Was pretty surprised that the first thing I was encouraged to cut was something that I don't have a whole lot of in my diet. I did check wiki and found a list of products with caffeine. It does appear there isn't that much caffeine in my diet. I was surprised to see how much caffeine is in Starbucks coffee versus (240mg) versus an extra strength caffeine tablet (200 mg). Now wonder I'm not a Starbucks fan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caffiene

It was about 50 posts I think. I actually noticed the same thing so at the end of the night, I'm documenting my post counts in "Two Posts..." Last night I ended at 1052. Tonight...

    So far we've got:
    Me on the bass
    Bostondevil on piano
    DukieinKansas on the handbells
    Lavabe on the reeds
DevilAlumna can play piano and sing, and a bit of the violin

YmoBeThere has no rhythm and has not mentioned singing abilities. So I'm thinking roadie.

Can you step in and play the tenor recorder? That sounds pretty awesome. You could also hook up on handbells, that might be sweet to have double the handbell.
    Maybe I can:
    a) join Ymo as a roadie,
    b) carry the bags, or
    c) apply lipstick to all the pigs and other animals

Every group needs a manager. You can be in charge of getting us a recording contract for huge bucks. (or free beer/wine/alcohol of choice )

    d) All of the above! Welcome aboard. Now we need a costume designer.

Strictly background vocals...I can fill the roadie role but definitely fit in the stunningly good looking but not much talent slot.

Manager is good. And maybe I can fly your jet, and EarlJam can be my copilot.

BD thought I'd look good in a miniskirt and white go-go boots. I'll pass on that one. Maybe a Duke polo and khakis.
