^^ And I'm assuming that horse hockey would consist of riders on the horses with hockey sticks, given a horse's lack of opposable thumbs.

Horse soccer would make sense -- I've seen clips of elephant soccer after all -- but doing it on ice would seem to be an unnecessarily complicating feature of the game.

Yeah, but not on ice. Let alone skates.

Next thing you know, there will be horse ski jumping. Where does it end?!?!?

These time periods between seasons do get long don't they?

Now that we know more about next year's schedule, should we redo our minutes calculations?

Today is VBS Day Three. Who knew spending the morning with no rain 0 kids would be so tiring.

Wait, no kids? Where are they?

In other news, hurricane season starts today! Hope those kids aren't gallivanting around in a heedless manner.

Sadly, despite being an above average consumer of donuts, I was not able to avail myself of such delights yesterday.

Fresh tomatoes, green peppers, hot peppers, and herbs from the garden.

Fresh eggs from a friend with chickens.

    Ymmm, omelettes.

    I love Saturday mornings.

"OPK's B&B," has a nice ring to it.

I'd like a room with a view of the garden and wondered if there is an afternoon wine and cheese welcome?

We usually start before afternoon, but if there's any left by then . . . sure!

I love fresh tomatoes, but the problem is that they all come in at once. May have to do some canning soon.

A mass of greenies on one plant, should have taken the picture before pulling the ripe ones.
