    Lima beans, no okra.

Not on principle mind you — but not on hand at the moment.

    It’s a variant of this:

    https://www.food.com/recipe/brunswic...ken-pork-32386

My measurements are loose at best and I freely substitute things if I don’t have them.

Man after my own heart. The directions are just one person's opinion.

    Absolutely.

Except with baking, because that is more science than anything. Other than that, cooking is a medium for artistic and culinary expression.

Yeah...I don't bake for that reason.

Beef on Weck from the local english pub. Gals got fish and chips. Welsh rarebit and sticky toffee pudding. Yum.

There's something about watching Jon Hamm drink at a bar that makes me feel like a man.

The manliest thing I have done in years is change a tire in 15 minutes without the handle for the jack. I used a screw driver to crank the jack. I feel so good about this.

I don’t know what the Nobel prize for being a man is but you should submit for sure. Well done.

I almost always follow a recipe to a T the first time, then make adjustments as I see fit.

I got rid of a mouse in a trap today without putting on disposable gloves. Of course, I used a garden fork to try to get it into a plastic bag - it didn't go all the way in but was able to contain it enough without touching the bag too close to the dead mouse. And, yes, the trap went out too. I only washed my hands once afterward.

    I may be getting braver.

I wish I did. I won't measure. No idea why really.
