Season kicks off tonight with a bang! Off-season thread is now closed and further NFL discussion can happen here.
Just be you. You is enough. - K, 4/5/10, 0:13.8 to play, 60-59 Duke.
You're all jealous hypocrites. - Titus on Laettner
You see those guys? Animals. They're animals. - SIU Coach Chris Lowery, on Duke
There are way more important things going on tonight than a random NFL game.
*Important Announcement*
I will not be engaging in any reverse jinxes this sports year (I swear). I don’t want there to be any confusion as to any discussions I engage in moving forward.
Tonight the Bills score on their first drive. Both teams looking like strong SB contenders early on.
This Josh Allen fella is good at quarterbacking.
Diggs is a good wide receiver.
The Bills looks positioned for a great season this year.
If the Bills can cut down on turnovers they might actually be a good team.
Don't beat yourself up over that one. The Bengals were somewhat of a Cinderella team in terms of getting all the way to the SB. And I don't think most folk would argue that the pecking order in the AFC this year isn't 1) Cincy, 2)... As far as prognostication, all the money is on Buffalo. And I'm assuming KC would be 2nd in the AFC (although I haven't looked at the betting odds beyond knowing where the Bills sit). Personally, I'd love to see Cincy get another shot. But I'm not opposed to Buffalo either. They looked like a machine last night. But for the turnovers (some of them a bit fluky), they were near on perfect. Gonna be a tough out this year barring injuries.
Patriots might be worse than last year. Down 10-0 to Miami midway thru the 2nd quarter.
