Credit-^^^^, but my plastic card ; thanks, accfan!!
    Style-BBA flavored imperial milk stout
Format-750 ml bottle divided over 2 nights
    Stemware-Hardywood GBS tumbler
Appearance-rather dark brown with a creamy/foamy tan head
    Nose-coffee and ginger
    Mouthfeel-seductive
Tastes-strong coffee, ginger, dark chocolate, vanilla, ginger, oak and not as much bourbon as I anticipated
Adjuncts-ginger, coffee, lactose, vanilla and honey
IBU-55, same as the original GBS
    ABV-11.5%, therefore a 2 night beer
Overall impression-wonderful upgrade/variant of their original GBS
Ymm, Beer rating-mid cat 3; a bit heavy on the coffee but very well balanced
    Night 2 Tuesday:

Not much different; somewhat less foam with the flavor profile of coffee, ginger, semi-sweet chocolate, vanilla and bourbon pretty similar.

Actually, there are only 3 left, maybe 4: Mega Barrel, BBA GBS, Triple Barrel and maybe one more. A couple will disappear when company arrives mid-June.

Beer o'clock started about 30 minutes ago after a couple hours of yard work. No fuses were cut and no lawns were mowed ad nauseum.

    Silent Night Reserve 2020

Was able to split a bomber with my BIL, before the heat rolls in. Initially I thought it was a little on the thin side. But the finish lingers a loooooong time. Good balance between coffee and booze. I suspect the Grand Reserve is amazing.

    Sycamore Juice Jujitsu

A hazy IPA with blood orange. Pours the color of pineapple juice. Super-tropical. 8.3% ABV. IBU’s likely in the upper 40’s to mid-50’s. A four-pack was part of the Barrel Chest haul. Worth keeping an eye out for this. Tasty stuff.

Any work on DuClaw’s Sour Me Black Apple? Picked up some for kayaking tomorrow but never had it.

No help here. Only DuClaw I can remember drinking is their Sweet Baby Jesus peanut butter porter. I’m sure it was “crunchy,” not “smooth.”

When we had our sampler, the consensus was that the Grand Reserve was world class and the other 3 were "only" varying degrees of outstanding. On the beer advocate grading scale, probably something like 99, 96, 95 and 94.

Not that one in particular but other DuClaw brews have generally been very good to excellent.

Definitely no "crunch" in that one one which likely knocks it down to cat 2 for OPK, but as least you don't have to floss after sipping one of those.
