Nahhh the initial challenge is 99 bottles of beer on the wall for all but devildeac, whose stamina is equipped for 999 bottles of beer...

For my lovely bride beergoddess the challenge was 9. I think she made it to 4 which was you're right, of course.

The GBS Complete Set is absolutely worth it. I've never been so happy with money I've spent. Every beer in the box was beyond worth it.

Sexual Chocolate 2021 - 9.6 % (I probably better slow down after this one and the Hardywood) - Russian Imperial Stout

Black pour. Feel a little more thin with this one, but not offensively so. These cans can still be found at great value for very good beer. More dark chocolate than espresso, but not as much flavor with either as the 2020 version. It's just not as good as the 2020 or some previous versions, but still outstanding. I actually thought it was better than the Hardywood Baltic Porter I just had.

High Category 2. Hit the spot on a light breezy beautiful Sunday afternoon. Beergoddess liked it too.

Please do let me know what your find wrt Ghost in the Machine...

Sounds like an initial buy-in for a rack of live chips to me.

Would also love to hear what you think of the beer

    Veil

    Every Veil beer I’ve had.

Tefnut and their other smoothies. Their BBA beers like Lord Whangdoodle. Their Hornswoggler series including Oreo and Reese cup. Their Miata series, orange was the last one I had. Their Witness, etc. series. We Dead Mon.

Their beers have been reviewed extensively here by RJ, DD, fuse, Nerrvous. Virtually all are cat3.

That’s cheating to get to 99. And I left off my favorite salted caramel porter from RJ, Incendiary, Choosey Mothers, Wiseman...so many others. But I’ll stop here at 99

oohh a hint for the trivia game for those who kept up with Ymm Beer. No small task. No wonder you got all the beer questions right and won the VP trivia challenge. Is anyone surprised?

    Well deserved

I probably need to drink more Sierra Nevada, and I definitely need to visit their space in Asheville.

Who cares who owns them, right? It was not difficult to represent these guys at the VP with the 2019 Bourbon County Stout courtesy of you (I would never have aged mine so patiently). Thanks!

I don't think I would include Yuengling as a craft beer. But happy to discuss and be proven wrong. Yuengling isn't bad, and I ordered it many times at places like Hooters when my only other decent option was Killians, which I preferred.

    Credit-a trader from ClemmonsDevil; thanks!
    Style-NEIIPA
Format-12 ounce bottle (not many of those still filled)
    Manifested On-02/11/21
Stemware-only the best for this one, a Hardywood teku
Appearance-white grapefruit juice with a 2 inch foamy top
    Nose-grapefruit and stone fruits
    Mouthfeel-juicy juice
Tastes-grapefruit, peach, cantaloupe, orange and zest
Hops-"Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA." (beeradvocate)
    IBU-100 (No. Damn. Way.)
    ABV-8.5%; dangerous stuff
Overall impression-live up to the ClemmonsDevil hype; not the best NEDIPA I've had but damn close and highly tasty; any 336ers that get this will smile for days
Ymm, Beer rating-low/mid cat 3; this is an excellent beer; RJ is right and I'm a bit tough on IPAs/IIPAs, as is TW, but I'd compare with Burial, New Anthem and Veil
    Reads quite tasty indeed.

Clemmonsdevil should probably post more on this thread if he drinks beers like this. But some people just prefer the light side of the force I guess...

I posted an arachnid in the Venomous snakes thread and it got deleted. How does a picture of a spider get deleted from a thread with pictures of venomous snakes? I guess I was off topic.

Not sure we could find any in our areas.
No but I've had beers from them years ago at a nice beer spot at Monte Carlo in Vegas years ago. It was better than most beer I could find out there, and much better than Space Dust from Elysian. Like Boulevard, Monte Carlo has had some changes and is now called "Park MGM". Probably so they can charge more for rooms.

Are these any good? I've seen several times but usually avoid their beers for no good reason.

These guys ARE good. Thanks to Devildeac I've probably had more 120 IPA than 60 or 90. But I've never had a bad beer from Dogfish.
