Thanks for checking! I’ll add Spieth.

    Rahm - 8
    Hatton - 6
    Mcllroy - 5
    Hovland - 5
    Fitzpatrick - 4
    Lowery - 2
    Spieth - 2

    Winner — -9

That sums to 31. Gotta drop a point somehow.

Thanks. Then I’ll just go back to being Spiethless and save my extra point for next year.

If Hatton is 5 instead of six, you have discovered the conundrum of "Degenerate Gamblers" when it comes to golf. To use all your points, you must pair players
with "odd" ratings, or else use all "even" players.

This has been a heartbreaking process for Team CDu. A lot of regulars (Morikawa, Thomas, Woods (obviously), Koepka, Wolff) didn't make the squad this year. Thomas was especially hard not to pick. Actually, after much hemming and hawing, I'm going to drop another semi-regular (Cantlay) bring JT back to the squad. I just couldn't leave him out.

Team rsv, departing from my usual stellar choices...
    Rahm (8)
    Schaufele (6)
    Cantlay (5)
    Fitzpatrick (4)
    Wolff (3)
    Garcia (2)
    Harman (2)

Going for a team with a greeter number of players, players that are good values, and maybe haven't been picked for everybody else's team rather than going with my gut and instincts.

Time will tell whether this strategy was smarter or stupider than my usual method.

    Tie breaker... 14 under

There used to be a rule that capped teams at 9 players, but I took it out as no one has ever come close. This will be a good test case for whether that rule was a good one or not. Good luck!

    Team Catonious Rex:

    DJ: 11 (!)
    JT: 9
    Koepka: 5
    Rory: 5

I’ve watched very little golf since this pandemic hit, so don’t know how everyone is playing right now. So I picked two guys I root for (JT and Rory) and two guys I like to see go head to head (DJ and Koepka). Also going all in on a top heavy draft.

Also, also I’m still vibing off DJs march across Augusta last fall.

Me too. I like the relaxed restriction as it introduces the opportunity for an entirely different strategy. I like that someone has taken it this time.
