    Envoutée Single Barrel Cognac
    Variant of Envoûtée-Trois Dames

From Untappd but obviously a brewer's/PR creation:

"Before even entering a single Cognac barrel, this hand blended beer of
more than two years old, was the result of uniting beer aged in both oak and stainless steel.
Envoutée began with Belgian Abbey malt that was transformed by the brewing process,
time, our house mixed culture containing Brettanomyces, and careful blending. Give this
beer time in your glass to reveal avors of ripe plums, petrichor, and hints of Jerez Sherry
(12% of the blend was aged in Jerez barrels).
Each of our limited-edition beers are produced in tiny quantities and bottled on a small scale –
often incorporating unique ingredients or distinctive barrels. Each beer is sealed with a cork
and cage. We hand paint each label, screen print on top of that, and apply each label by
hand. Each label is unique, and each limited-edition beer is a one of a kind artistic creation
that can withstand extended aging in cool and dark places. From barrel 151 which was filled
    in April 2017."

Not *quite* what you wanted but I'm thinking there aren't many "vaccination" brews on the market:

I'm biased. But you can't beat Hardywood stouts.

I'm drinking a pretty incredible stout right now, from a different brewery in Virginia

Another excellent mix. You get the bourbon and ale up front. A hint of the Barleywine, and a touch of Chardonnay/butter on the finish. This was a family tree warehouse sale, wish I had bought two 4-packs.
    reads just wow

how do they do it? (ie make beer cocktails better than devildeac)

I had 2 wild yeast beers in the past few weeks that had been in the fridge way too long. They didn't "explode" per se. But they erupted like a slow foaming volcano that kept going all over the table when I opened them. Messy. These were bottles not crowlers.

    From the brewer:
"Welcome to the future. Our collective human consciousness, or Ghost in the Machine, has gained a tolerance for hops beyond what mankind has ever known before. This double India Pale Ale is the necessary outcome. Brewed with obscene quantities of hand-selected Citra hops from our favorite farm in Yakima Valley, WA. Expect pungent grapefruit aromas and flavors, tropical fruit, and less harsh bitterness than most IIPAs."

I think this is the IPA that ClemmonsDevil recommended (let me know if it isn't) and I can certainly see why he likes it. It is the perfect beer to accompany a bowl of turkey chili, a turkey burger, or even turkey tartare...

All kidding aside, it is a very good IPA. Poured a hazy light yellow with a small white head. Lots of lacing. I got more orange juice than grapefruit with a mildly bitter finish. Has a 99 on BA. Looks like there is a double-dry-hopped version which scored a 100.

[Checks map]...hmm, the brewery is about 20 minutes off the freeway in Lafayette which just so happens to be on the drive between TX and NC. If we somehow make a wrong turn and have to turn around in the parking lot it's only polite to make a purchase, right?
Yes please! Sounds like a fun beer

    Sure doesn't look/taste like beer.

I have one left and not sure I can get it to Tripping but will hold onto it for another month or so. Hopefully, he gets one of RJ199's in the 336.

Looking forward to another variant from Nrrrrvous, perhaps later this month.
Yikes too late - sorry Tripping! Beergoddess and I drank all 4 of these. amusedcupcake's husband told us the unpasteurized fruited beer needed to be consumed fresh or it would go bad or something. Or maybe beergoddess drank the last one. Or maybe I just saw that bright yellow can and forgot I was saving it for you. So get that last one from devildeac!

Don't worry Tripping, I haven't gotten into your stash I'm holding for you... yet
