Summit DIPA-Ardent Craft Ales

Another non-qualifier for Virtual Pub tomorrow but it was still a high quality IIPA.

Forgot to credit accfanfrom1970 for this one. Thanks!! I've had very few Ardent IPAs, IIRC. I am calling Bovine Shenanigans on the IBU of 7 printed on the label. It was rindy/zesty bitter but no way it was 7.

Crimson Velvet-Haw River Farmhouse Ales

Second (third?) go-round on this one.

Raspberry imperial IPA aged on French oak spirals and dry-hopped with Enigma hops.

The bite of a DIPA, the fruit of a Veil IIPA and the creativity of Haw River.

We should all be thanking you for hosting. I got lucky with your theme as I already had 3 beers in storage that fit the bill, plus, I discovered a 4th that also qualified.

I'm sorry I/we had to miss it, but, as I've said for years, "family first."

Now comes the difficult part for you as you have to volunteer, err, coerce, umm, bribe the next victim, ahh, lucky soul to host the February edition. PM any of the regulars for suggestions/nominees.

I traded one of these to our son yesterday in honor of their 26 month old who they refer to as "biggie boy." He chortled heartily when he saw the name.

I only kept the one out of that 4-pack. So now I'm going to search for my 2nd stout. Maybe accfanfrom1970 could recommend one?

I've already reviewed Dystopian Hellscape and have my second can waiting to be consumed, probably later this week. I shared the tasted like sunshine dust with our son and younger son-in-law Friday night and mentioned it then or Saturday AM but due to family circumstances, didn't post a full review which I'll do after the second can is sampled.

Great price! Beer pricing in RVA for the Hardywood offerings does not appear to have the travel mark-up that it has in NC.
