Credit-Christmas gift from younger son-in-law; thanks!!
    Style-hazy IPA
    Storage facility-pint can
    Receiving facility-snifter
Appearance-tropical fruit juice; generous, frothy head
    Nose-grapefruit and orange
    Mouthfeel-Dole or Del Monte
Tastes-lotsa grapefruit juice and rind along with a generous helping of OJ and zest; some dank
    Adjunct-lactose
Hops-Citra, Idaho 7, Galaxy and Cryo Simcoe (in case there are any home brewers reading)
    IBU-probably 50s
    ABV-7.5%
Overall impression-juicy, fruity and dank; good combo of hops; if they tossed in some vanilla, it'd be a milk shake
Ymm, Beer rating-close to cat 3 but not quite; still very good and paired well with some leftover pork tenderloin, mashed sweet taters and roasted asparagus
    From their website:

"Not all unicorns enjoy skipping along rainbows, playing in clouds, and prancing through glitter fields. Some bad*ss, hardcore unicorns pick up their fire blasting 3-headed saxophone and rock out to a genre-melting doom jazz (doom metal + jazz).

This beer honors all those unicorns out there playing a little doom jazz in the face of 2020 with a combo of tropical and citrusy hops mellowed out with a bit of lactose. We're picking up notes of candied orange peel, good cannabis, papaya, and pink lemonade."

Just one. That's all. Mrs. Nrrrrvous really doesn't do Pale Ales.

I do have some errands to run today and *might* be a couple miles from The Exhibit, their Raleigh taproom (now, of course, only doing curbside sales).

One for all and all for one. I won't buy a buncha stuff; maybe a litter for you and a litter for me, ya know, to fill in a couple or three gaps in those New Glarus carriers missing a beer or two .

    Foothills Dead & Berried

A year old, laying down in the storage closet. Still super-tasty. The acidity and light tartness hit just the right note. Hopefully Foothills will release a new version of this before too long.

Probably. I don’t think they have released in nearly a year. I could be wrong.

    Canis Mexicanus-Wolf's Ridge Brewing

    Night 2 (from last PM)

A spiced/spicy Mexican coffee/chocolate style imperial stout. Less foam on the second night's serving and perhaps a few more Scoville Heat Units (but not too many more ) as I let it warm for 15 minutes after pouring and sipped it for probably 45 minutes after that. High quality stuff coming from Columbus, even if they couldn't hang with the Tide on Monday night.
