I don't think proelitedota is saying this is Cassius saying he's back 100%, but rather that something like this is a positive indication for him returning. I also subscribe to that analysis. From all we know about Cassius, he doesn't seem like the type of young man who would tease (and potentially alienate in the process) Duke fans without the serious potential of some good news incoming. I'm hoping this means an "announcement" of some sort is imminent.

I agree. If he is coming back, his post-is good natured. If he is leaving, it is kind of cruel. I think he is a good-natured guy and is having some fun.
Makes me worry though, April Fools Day is coming up …
What's next for Cassius? Perhaps year 2 if his Instagram post from 30 min ago means anything?

perhaps he wants a parade or something. Wacky kids these days.
I don't think we should analyze these social media posts too deeply. He is clearly indicating he is back.

I mean, it could be literally anything. Just the other day he was talking about deep thoughts like “why is there a ‘d’ in fridge but not refrigerator?” We just jump to that conclusion probably because it is the only thing we think we know he is thinking about.
To be clear, I certainly HOPE it has to do with his decision. And it might well be. But I just don’t think that tweet has to be about his decision.
From what I have read, Tre is going and Vernon is most likely going with Cassius not fully decided. If he stays, our team will look like this.
Center:
Mark Williams
Patrick Tape
Power Forward:
Jaemyn Brakefield
Henry Coleman
Matthew Hurt (likely)
Small Forward:
Jalen Johnson
Wendell Moore (likely)
Joey Baker
Shooting Guard:
DJ Steward
Cassius Stanley (questionable)
Point Guard:
Jeremy Roach
Jordan Goldwire
If Stanley is back, we have at least one experienced player at every position. If Stanley were to leave then we have options for a second shooting guard. Brakefield is good with the ball and can shoot. We have otherrs who can shoot but have not got guard level handles. I don't know if Johnson can shoot but he has a decent handle.
All in all it looks like we have a deep and solid team coming in.
Post players:
Mark Williams
Patrick Tape
Jaemyn Brakefield
Henry Coleman
Stretch 4s:
Jaemyn Brakefield
Jalen Johnson
Joey Baker
Wendell Moore
Matthew Hurt (questionable)
Wings:
Joey Baker
Wendell Moore
Cassius Stanley
DJ Steward
Ball handlers:
Jalen Johnson
Wendell Moore
DJ Steward
