The educated guess, notwithstanding potential issues in the upcoming CBA negotiations, would have the first "double draft" (college freshmen and HS seniors) in 2022. So, the answer to your question would be 2021 when players would be thoughtfully considering jumping to the league to avoid the double draft.

Of course, that neglects the possibility that the NBPA will have an issue with jettisoning some of its current members to make room for more younger, not-current members.

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

They are all shooters, lol. Some of them just do it better than others. ;-)

You haven't been watching Ben Simmons the past couple years.

    Or Duke PGs...

    Too subtle for some, apparently.

You haven't been watching Simmons, either. He (almost) literally doesn't shoot from more than a foot or two beyond the rim.

Well, he took 428 free throws last year. Reasonably certain those are considered shots and reasonably certain they were more than a foot or two from the rim.

The point of RSV's gibe was the distinction between shooting and shooting well. I thought it was appropriately humorous not a call to arms.

    YMMV.

I don't think Kedsy saw a call to arms as much as a chance to further the joke. Simmons is hilariously and notoriously reluctant to shoot from anywhere outside the lane.

In all fairness he had a great 1 year at LSU and i'd be more than welcome to having a Simmons at Duke if they could replicate what he did there.

You mean a middling regular season and sitting out the post season, then referring to college as a "waste of time?"

    Nah, I'll keep our guys.

Didn’t he also bail on completing his classes spring semester?

Perhaps Kedsy considers them throws, not shots?

Yes, but he only hit on 60% of those unguarded throws. He also was 0-17 on 3’s for the last 2 seasons. Really, a guard who only took 17 3’s in 2 seasons?

I'm sorry, which 2020 recruit are we referring to here?

I assume that’s more attempts than the guard picked number one overall the year after him?

Nice try ! But it's the off-season. Threads have a tendency to go astray.
