You made me do it. I just went back 9 years and counted which college can claim the most NBA Championships. Why not 10, well, I'll update once we crown this year champions. I may keep going further back but for today, I'm done.
Note: I did not confirm if all the players listed on the rosters for their respective teams actually saw any action in a playoff game.
The college with the most NBA Championships since 1999 is Alabama with 5 in the person of Robert Horry. So there, TarHeels.
UNC does have 4, (Rick Fox and Rasheed Wallace) so do Wake Forest, LSU, Kentucky, and Oregon State.
I still say bragging about this statistic, as was done recently on IC, is lame. Just in case you were wondering, the '98 Bulls had a guy from Alabama on their team so they would still be in the lead if I went back one more year.
What college has the most former Olympic track athletes admit to past steroid use in the last year?
Note: We can count athletes who attended the school as well as coaches at the school.
