In that case, let me be the first to say, "I can't wait until next year."
Minor spoilers:
"All I can say is, Sawyer isn't one of the Oceanic 6 and Jack and Kate are," Lindelof says, referring to the ongoing love triangle between Josh Holloway's, Evangeline Lilly's and Matthew Fox's characters. "It will obviously be a huge focus in the final three hours of the show that comprise the finale in terms of how that series of events transpires, and ultimately what happens to Sawyer."

Another little tidbit that I have not seen mentioned here--
Damon and Carlton realized that they have more story to tell than they think they have room for in this season, so they asked ABC if they could have a 2-hour finale. ABC, having already scheduled the season finale of highly rated Grey's Anatomy for the final night of sweeps in May just could not figure out how to make it work at first.
Then, they talked to Shondra Rhimes (Grey's ExecProd) and she agreed to do a 2-hour season finale of Grey's allowing Lost to have a 2-hour season finale of their show the week after sweeps are over. This means that there will be no Lost on Thursday May 22nd (the final night of sweeps) but there will be a 2-hour season finale on Thursday May 29th.

So, wait, we get 3 Losts, then a break, then the season finale? Or do we get an extra 2 hour season finale? Oh, say it's so!
Good riddance to the whole Kate/Sawyer theme. I can never look at the two of them together in a scene without thinking of them consummating their love while locked in an Others' cage. Gross. On so many levels.
4 episodes (apr 24, may 1st, 8th, 15th) then a 2 hour episode on the 29th
