    The High School Election

    Hey guys.
April's rolling around, which means Student Council elections at our school. After being president for three years, this year, I'm running for vice president, with elections starting in two weeks. I've come up with some good slogans so far, but I also wanted to see what we could come up with here. I'm looking for something witty, funny, and not overused.

So, what do you guys think would be the perfect campaign slogan?

"I won't Al Gore you to death"?
"I know how to spell POTATO"?

Not really sure what an effective VP slogan would be. Without your name -- and I'm not asking for it -- you have to go with something generic. To play off current national events:

"Yes they can... but I will."
"[Name] for change, but only a little bit."

Or you could go with honesty:

"I'm actually asking for this demotion."
    "Until there's alcohol, there's me."

The following may apply if your school is on an island:

    "We'll build a bridge to 21st Street."
"Vote or get off the boat."

Any other suggestions, whether they're helpful or just for our amusement? Help a young person out!

I recommend going after your opponents - here's a fine example of a well-run smear campaign

Lol, those are pretty good. I found out today there is only one other person running for the spot; a relief. I just might use the 'only little bit of a change' slogan a few times.

And if your really bored and thinking of some more later, my name, is A.J.

go with the tried and the true:

    Guaranty off campus for lunch
    Free soda at lunch
    Free pizza

...or just go with the Zack Morris approach and pay everyone a quarter to vote for you (or the Mugabe approach and rig the election - sorry, PP board . . .I know)
