Maybe this needs to be Yet Another Beer Thread, or the Beer Spillover Thread, or The Beer Foams Over thread...

    Bell’s Light Hearted

    Lo Cal IPA

    Good frothy head.
Orange tinted gold in the glass.

    Faint citrus on the nose.

Pleasingly bitter, pretty mild on flavour.

Not at all the same, I prefer New Belgium Purist or any of the 3 Mural beers.

Better than a comparable Dogfish Head Slightly Mighty IPA.

Glad I only bought one can.

Not in any way a Yechh, Beer.

    Skol! 🍻

I thought it was pretty "OK" too. Better than Lagunitas low cal IPA, but not nearly as good as Oskar Blues One-y

That's about the 30,000th time you've mentioned that. Do you own stock?

Edit: made my 30,000 reference a minute after fuse posted his. Slow is my middle name.

Have I also mentioned that Burning Blush makes the best lagers in WNC?

Sierra Nevada Fantastic Haze Imperial IPA

    9% 👀

Nose is surprisingly faint, not surprisingly boozy, and a bit on the dank side.

For a hazy beer, merely cloudy.
Still opaque, and would not be mistaken for juice.

Juicy flavour - lots of orange juice, with a juicy fruit bubble gum finish.

Like the Light Hearted, I only bought one can.
Decent, I like Hazy Little Thing much better.

    An unnecessarily big beer?

Still a lot to like, not yechh, beer. 🤔😁

    Skol! 🍻

Once or twice. Eventually, I’ll have one.

Wondering if I will be able to find some cold Red Oak products for September virtual pub.

Interestingly enough, Tropical Torpedo is an entirely different beer than Torpedo.

I had thought Tropical Torpedo was Torpedo with fruit adjuncts.

Torpedo is 7.2% ABV, Tropical Torpedo is 6% ABV.

Not going to let it deter me from enjoying the rest of the twelve pack, although I do feel deceived.

    Skol! 🍻

Reading this while having a Torpedo IPA.

It has been several years since I have had one of these. I forgot how bitter this beer was. Still a tasty classic.

Mods *might* have to combine beer threads if this keeps up as I'm getting confused.

I love Torpedo, and it definitely embraces the old school bitter vibe.

My memory of the “original” Tropical Torpedo (having no evidence it ever changed) was that it was just as big as original Torpedo, tempered with a fruitiness that made it next level.

I had substituted a twelve pack of Tropical Torpedo when I couldn’t find New Belgium Purist.

I'm gonna go inflict -- er, share some of that crappy blueberry mess on some people tonight. So that should be fun.

(Okay, it's not crappy. It just isn't my thing. But you don't know if you don't try . . . .)

I'll try to find my Voodoo Maple Bacon Donut beer review tonight. Not one of my better selections.

Probably the correct place for this several month old link:

    https://tenemu.com/news/martin-house...-march/02/2020

"The Fort Worth, Texas-based brewery is once again joining forces with Best Maid Pickles, this time on Spicy Pickle Beer, a 4.7 percent ABV sour ale that combines ingredients from both companies. This is the second time that the two companies have collaborated, after Sour Pickle Beer, a 5.5 percent ABV sour beer base mixed with sour pickle juice sourced from Best Maid was released last August."
