I have to disagree with that, and like Outkast more than most.

    You and me both.

Same goes for Dylan. And all hip hop 'artists'.

You need professional help in a bad way.

I have so much darn space I have to load something on it. I think my ipod now holds more music than CD's I own .

I have yet to find a single hip hop 'artist' or song that I can even remotely stand.

    Ooh, thanks for the suggestions!

I also need to add some Cake (from the "Pandora" thread.)

IIRC, EarlJam used that phrase in one of his early signatures.

What's this about flying out to Nova Scotia?

I had some strawberry cake last week when it looked like we might actually be having Spring. Then we went right back to overcast with intermittent rain and unable to make it out of the mid 50's.

Rain, pshaw. That's nothing. We got hail and sleet again here today. Around 2PM. Wrong.

Nothing like that here, fortunately. Highs in the mid-70s. Sunny and beautiful.

Today is closing day on my house. Still loads of packing to do. I'm renting from the new owners until Monday, when the moving van comes to get my stuff. I'll be a real urbanite this time next week. I'm going from a house in suburbia to a 12th floor apartment with a city view. A bit like the opposite of 'Green Acres'.

    I ain't sayin' I'm a thread killer...

Multi-purpose: takes thread back to the top, and rips off a hip-hop/rap song that was discussed on another thread (Kanye West's Gold Digger). In fact, I may have used this particular line before in this very thread.

Yo, BD, how's the post-marathon recovery going? How are your knees, etc.?

Whoa, that's quite a switch -- house to apartment. Why the 12th floor?

It was the available apartment that fit my criteria, but it will likely be a bit of an adjustment. The view is pretty spectacular, though - I think I'll be able to see the Arch. Considering the fact that I'm moving from a 1300 sq ft house to a 1000 sq ft apartment, it's not too much of a downsize. I have sold off some furniture, though.

Oh, and I'm renting for a year to see how the job goes and how long I think I'll want to stay. It will also give me a chance to see where I would want to buy.
