Three more posts. I'm happy to take the honor and will do it once I think of something at least semi-suitable to say.

    13,000!!!!!!!!

I still feel like starting something most days. I don't actually believe that my entire life was determined by the time and date of my birth but I do think they had an influence. I'm a Libra. Libra is the cardinal air sign. Cardinal means you're usually good at starting things - check. Air signs are both the 'head in the clouds' types and the thinkers of the Zodiac. Check (at least to the 'head in the clouds part). I'm supposed to love books and hate crowds too. Again, check.

But this post shouldn't just be about my sign.

It's been a long crazie ride and I do hope it continues. I, for one, will always post here. I'd love to see new posters but I know the prospect of reading 13,000 posts is a bit daunting. I post on other message boards, one of them is 'Television Without Pity'. (I hear you all mumbling PW under your breath ) On TWoP, as it is called in message board lingo, you can post in one of the many superlong threads as long as you've read at least the last 15 pages of posts. That unwritten rule is fine for here too. So, please, lurkers or just folks who stumbled across us for other reasons, please, don't be too shy to join in the fray.

To all of you that I have 'met' because of this thread, I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you.

Great 13,000th post, BD! Congratulations. Now you can repeat the milestone next month (?) in some other crazie place

13,000 kind of stalled us out, huh?

Nah, BD, I just liked seeing "13,000" just sitting there. I wasn't going to let it slide down to Page 2. Nice post for the milestone, btw.

However, I will beg to differ on the impact of time and date influencing a person's traits or behavior. I am also a Libra, but Mrs. Turk will testify that I am absolutely terrible about starting things. But, once I do get going, I won't stop until finished, so that seems to be the opposite of your style.

(I do occasionally look at the horrorscopes in the paper for giggles...)

Do you know what time of day you were born? Your rising sign is probably one of the 'fixed' signs. My rising sign is Aries which is cardinal fire. I'm doubly good at starting things. It's finishing that's my problem.

Whenever I get a little depressed I've found one surefire way to bump me out of a funk is to start a new knitting project. I do finish knitting projects, eventually, but I have a lot more going than I probably should have.

Congratulations on post #13,000, BD. I'm glad you took the honor. I'm also glad internet access is back so that I could read the post.

I hope your son is feeling better.
