Well personally, I was out of the office for a week... now I'm back and playing catch up.
Plus covering for one of my staff who is on vacation this week.
Plus covering/scrambling to deal with another co-worker's responsibilities as her mom passed away and now said co-worker is out of the office too.
I'm a bit busy.
Bostondevil is an idiot. Details later. When I stop being mad at myself.
random musing...
Have you ever wondered what the color green smells like?
A post for my new avatar.
There was an... outdoors show in the convention center that we were in... oh the possibilities.
There's a condition called synesthesia where people who have it join one sensory input to another - so certain sounds trigger colors, or a taste triggers a visual understanding.
Maybe there's a color-to-smell synesthete in the house?
Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

I made a mistake. I set a water bowl for my cats on the counter located right above the carpet. My boy cat saw it and knocked the nearly full bowl over on the carpet.
My mistake? I still haven't bought my Shamwow yet...
OK, here's what I did. I went to Craigslist and searched on Duke Boston College Basketball. I clicked on a link that said Duke BC tickets from $1. Yeah right but I was surprised that I could get 4 tickets for $35 a piece. So I bought them. They were for the Clemson game last night. I guess the link took me to all BC basketball games, not just Duke. I never even noticed. I didn't realize my mistake until 8:30pm last night when the folks at StubHub called to find out if I was going to come pick up the tickets. Uh, no. I'm going to call customer service today but I'm not optimistic. Last time I buy tickets from StubHub but still, I should have realized something was up with the ticket price. I'm not going to the game after all. The cheapest tickets were $130 a piece and on top of the $180 I'll probably have to eat, can't afford it. (Handling fees, so they were really $45 a piece)
