No. Dadgummit is my least favorite. That's the way it HAS to be.

Nothing yet. Guess I set the bar with the 900th post. I'll have to think about it. I did mention Wallace Stevens' "Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird" earlier; maybe I can come up with "Thirteen Ways of Looking at the LTE".

Supper, at this hour? It's only 4:40!

See, that's the beauty of this setup: those of us who aren't in the Eastern time zone can keep things moving for you.

Don't be bummed. He said the (gross warning) mucus needs to be loosened so you can expel it, and for that it needs to be, well, moist. That won't happen if you're dehydrated or dried out from other medications or the illness itself. (Dried out does not equal mucus free.)

I said he was climbing the ladder - I didn't say he had passed Dadgummit.

I'll echo this. That's why you're supposed to drink lots of liquids when you have a cold. Mucinex is still one of the best medicines out there for chest congestion IMHO.

My mom did that for us with tea instead of lemonade. I now keep a bottle of bourbon in my cabinet just for that reason, and cooking. The rum and vodka are for drinking.
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."

Meanwhile, we're getting closer to 9,000 on the LTE.

Actually, I have a bottle of lemoncello in my freezer that I use as my special cough medicine. Except for when I'm taking acetaminophen.

Wasn't that an Agatha Christie novel?

I don't know. Not sure I've ever read any Agatha Christie, but it does sound familiar.

The difficulty with her stuff is that it was sold under different titles at various points in time. There was one called Ten Little Indians or something like that. It was the one where they counted down in the chapter titles I think.

PW topic: Run the FSU game down for Sue

I missed the game today because I had to pick my dad up at the airport. Can someone quickly and concisely (ie without rambling or changing topic- HA!) give me an overview of what happened? I went to the EK Board and was not able to accomplish this... other than G had a great game and Nolan had too many turnovers and Z should've played more.
