True that, but Oz, I don't think "snarfing" and "Slim-Fast" belong in the same sentence...
On the other hand, an event featuring all-you-can-eat-and-drink can be referred to a "snarf-n-barf".
Thanks for the tip re Ymm Beer - sounds like a good time. Perchance you were sampling Dogfish "Raison D'Etre"? It's one of my favorites; maybe I'll hunt down some of my own this weekend...
Pssst...don't tell that to any knitters.
Why?

Don't ask me, I can't explain it.
Yes, that's it! It wasn't bad, but truth be known, I'd rather have had a Bud Light. Better drinkability, you understand
Snarf-n-barf. Hmmm. Reminds me of the chow train we had in 1975, when we went to the Zoom Zoom Room in chapel hill (owned by the same guy that owned the Rat. The Zoom closed years ago, the Rat last year for failure to pay taxes - it was auctioned off, right down to the tables. We had a thread on it at the time.) We knew it was an "all you can eat" spaghetti night, that's why we went to begin with, but we didn't know it was also all the beer you could drink night too (an A-B rep was there promoting it). After eating three skillets of spag (no balls) and drinking a couple of pitchers of beer, I felt like I was being rolled down the street to my car, much like the pep band members under the surf board surfing the Devil during Wipe Out on the Cameron floor. Didn't barf though; I'm not sure why. I didn't feel that stuffed again until the first time I went to the Carnegie Deli and finished a pastrami sandwich in one sitting (December 1999). Both of these events really happened. I have witnesses.
Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

I didn't last much past a minute. They look like they could post 'til the cows came home.
