    Duke players in NFL playoffs?

Watched a couple interesting NFL games Sat., for wildcards... with a couple more good ones on Sun coming. The Bolts were a stunning surprise, at least to me, as I had the Colts going to the Superbowl. The AZ Cardinals looked good against a mediocre Falcons team. But I don't see AZ getting past the next round. Looking for Balt and Philly to win Sunday...we'll see.

Does anyone know if there are any Duke football players still playing (in the NFL playoffs) at this point. 'would give me something to root for with my Redskins all dead and buried... Any NFL Dukies still going??

P.S. I'd think coach Cut's connections are likely to get more of our boys playing on Sunday down the road.

I was sobbing at the end of the book - I think the trailers do everyone a disservice, by making it look all light and happy.

It's like when I went to see "My Girl" on a first date, because it looked like a cute, light-hearted movie. I was crying for nearly the entire 2nd half. AWK-WARD!

Despite the sadness, was M&M a good flick?

    Talking Oh my!!

A good friend of mine is passing through our town on his way from Wisconsin to Florida.

Hmm... I wonder what he'll be bringing in the way of local products?

    Angry Ugh...

Still recovering from the Failcons game.

    What an AWFUL 3rd quarter!

Worse than that: having spent my time in St. Louis when Bidwell took the Big Red to 'zona, to see Bidwell in his box clapping was too much.

Unless Rod Tidwell is playing, it's anyone but 'zona!

And, once again, you have avoided posting the West Coast bracket in the Ymm, Beer thread.

And once again, you're down at least two touchdowns.

I think we're closing in on Casablanca, Bing. This sure beats the road to Mongolia.

Quite unexpectedly, yes. A $10 spin at the roulette wheel paid off...wiping out what otherwise would have been a losing one.

I should clarify, I put $20 down, $10 on a number and $10 on a color. Color hit, number didn't. $10 from the color on to the number and $10 on even. Hit the number and the even. Tipped the dealer $10 and walked away with my winnings.

First time anything like that has happened to me.

Sorry about that - imagine yourself there in the West Coast with DA.

Sorry I missed you. I went through a bad spell when I was on vacation in Charlotte. Not sleeping in my own bed threw me for a loop. I've been waking up earlier these days, working out and it's been helping with the sleep a bit. We'll see how long I can keep it up. All it takes is one bad night and then I'm back out of rhythm again.

Yes, I liked it. Made me come home and love on Chloe a whole lot. She was not amused, though.

Everyone must be returning from their holiday trips.

Speaking of which, Lava, how did Georgia hold up on her first real road trip?
