Figuring that their offering of a few tufts of feathers was insufficient after I yelled at them for killing another bird, the feral cats upped their offer and kindly left me the head and beak on my back patio.

I am not a fan of feral cats, they are overly destructive to local populations, but here I am.

You might have a local organization that will catch and relocate/rehome or at least spay/neuter ferals. It might help with the numbers.

you can now join me in the Mulch Hall of Fame, for which you get some nice gloves and a shovel. Definitely dropping my mulch acquisition as I age since I've mulched for so many years that I can only see the mulch briefly in a lot of places before flowers and plants pretty much cover it. Went from seven yards last year to 4.5 this year, thinking 3.5 next year.

Yes, I’ve trapped and had 6 ferals spayed/neutered and loaned my traps for another half dozen in my area. With the coyotes having moved out for other ground, not much else I can do.

    J. Cole with the peace out. Plus he's based in the Triangle and a standup guy.

I’d bow but my lower back is too tight.

    Ok, Boomer. /joking font/

I was thinking of something from this century, maybe Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers or The Avett Brothers.
