I was only there for one day on the back end of a Fraser Island trip. Went to a party out in the bush. This was well before Uber. Had a hell of a time getting a ride back to the hostel.

On a good news/bad news note, I have discovered that the local Ingles supermarkets mark down their pick-em-yourself donut shelves to 50% off after 6:00 PM.

Every day eventually becomes half price donut day!!
