Well let's do the math:

134 posts in the first 32 hours to kick it off, is about 100.5 posts per 24 hour period
529 days (2024 is a leap year right?) till election day 2024 which is November 5th

So 529 days x 100.5 posts/day = 53,164.5 posts. So it depends on how long after Election Day/24 the mods will allow the thread to fester.

All I can say is that is 53,164 posts making the mods life an utter hell...is...consume at your own risk I guess.

It will ramp up to several times that volume after key events. But to BD’s point, the issues and viewpoints in them haven’t changed. We’ll see how it unfolds.

we did great, mission accomplished: massive creemee, massive gin and tonic (one and only one) and nice rare burger...did not get the turnout from the horsey women I had hoped for, but we did have a decent crowd of them...now we rest and go to another nearby home for dinner....started the day with coffee and Succession, which was most enjoyable. And the weather is grand, 75 degrees and sunny, 27% humidity, dewpoint of 39. Perfect for doing work outside which I will certainly not do.
