I didn't call another poster a Rhinoceros, exactly, I left a clue as to where the quote came from.
OK, fair.
I also figured the poster wouldn't get the reference. I don't know. Does everyone here read the Russia thread too? If so, be honest, how many of you recognized the quote I posted? I have no idea how obscure it is since it's one that has stayed with me since I read Rhinoceros in high school.
For reference if you don't read the Russia thread, I posted this:
All cats die.
Socrates is dead.
Therefore Socrates is a cat.
I have chainsawed. I am man.
I believe that was Prof. Moo-Young Han's role. That was one of the more fun physics classes...

Halfway there.
I too have chainsawed...
If that is the same Dr. Han that taught General Physics in the early 70s, he was responsible for the line that cracked me, and only me, up in that class. He was describing how to determine electromotive force (EMF) and said "It's a good thing we're don't have to find the IMF, because that's impossible". Out of 200-some students, I was the only one that laughed, and I could only wonder how the heck those other students hadn't caught it. I felt a little sorry for him, because that line deserved a lot more than one reaction.
Just one class from him convinced me that he was truly an educator that found a way to have fun while teaching. But I really did not know until your reference that he was as renowned as he obviously was.
Poster House P and I were in the same Physics 31 and I think 32 classes in the '90-'91 academic year. The professor, who shall go nameless, called us a bunch of dumb Americans. Well something close to that. Professor Han took an entirely different approach and the class was full/had a waiting list. Maybe he was happy because we all had to buy his recently released book: The Secret Life of Quanta https://smile.amazon.com/dp/08306339...TW5YW2GHXY81VD
I think they were numbered 31 and 32 at the time. Maybe that was Calc I and II?
Well, air conditioning season appears to have been delayed a day or two.
