All of the superhero movies meet this description for me, except some Batman ones (the Burton and Nolan ones) for some reason.

The entirety of the Marvel cinematic universe or whatever just bores me to tears. Whichever Iron Man it was that I was dragged to was one of the couple of times I've fallen properly asleep in a movie theater. And then a bunch of people told me to see 'Guardians of the Galaxy' because "it's quirky and different or whatever and you'll like it." I spent over an hour just checking my watch to see when it might be over, and I could now not tell you one thing about the plot, performances, cinematography, anything...just immediately brain-wiped it in its entirety.
I'm well aware that I'm in the decided minority here, but I truly do not get the current crop of superhero movies. They do absolutely nothing for me, and I'm done trying to "get into" them...just one less thing for me to think about.

I watched the Michael Keaton Batman the other day. That's it. I have no interest in the Marvel movies, either.

I guess that is why all these new movies and TV shows coming out do not interest me at all. they are all remakes, reboots, and sequels. No originality whatsoever.

But you used the past tense, so were probably searching for movies that were more "classic". So for me, Pulp Fiction. I still regret that I didn't just walk out.

what's worse than sandals are men wearing socks and sandals, unless they're trying disguise themselves as Dutch or something. And all the Marvel movies really do suck.

    A third?

    Wuss.

    Two thirds here.

I'm likely (fingers crossed) to have a job by this time next week. It might out a serious cramp in my sandal time.

Some of them are a lot of fun. Some are not. The whole universe has been an impressive cinematic endeavor but I haven’t followed too closely. Almost all superhero movies follow the same basic narrative arc so they need something extra to separate them from the pack. Batman’s dark, gritty turn, for example, with Christopher Nolan.
