Happy New Year everybody. Hope there aren't too many hangovers out there.
Hmmm, "Low Rider"
Nissan (but would gladly go with a Honda Civic hybrid)
Truck? NO!
Neither Hyundai nor Kia
BMW (appears in a Bond flick)
Madagascar vanilla, chocolate, & coffee
Food I hate: sushi, chicken 'n' dumplin's, tuna
Viagra or Cialis? Whichever one is least represented in my SPAM folder
Boxers or briefs? I am not running for President.
Best Rock/Pop Cowbell: Blue Oyster Cult "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", War's "Low Rider", or the Stones' "Honky Tonk Woman"?
Cheers,
Lavabe
Happy New Year everybody. Hope there aren't too many hangovers out there.
Hmmm, "Low Rider"
Had both Hondas and Toyotas...like them both.
Toyota Tundra. My wife has had several american cars and trucks, and had nothing but trouble with them. So, she's convinced me to stay away.
Hyundai maybe?
BMW. I own a '97 Z3 that I bought new a month after I graduated duke. It's british racing green with a tan top, and I love it. I call it my first child. My kids aren't too jealous though, cause they covet it! :^)
Vanilla.
just to bump the thread a little more, I'll second the Happy New Year wish as a separate post!![]()
Happy new year folks!
Happy New Year, too
More cowbell, but in terms of cowbell in a song, I'll go with Honky Tonk Woman. Besides, that'll make it one apiece for the three songs.
New Year's Cheers,
Lavabe
Happy New Year!
Bowl games are okay, but I'm really in BB withdrawal. Can't wait for January 6, and I will be there!!
I always thought a cowbell in Van Halen's "Jump" would sound nice.
I have a cow bell.
And a drum stick.
I do not have a Van Halen CD though, hence, cannot test out my theory.
There was a lot of cowbellification going on in the FSU/Kentucky game yesterday.
Do Hindus consider the cowbell sort of like a church bell?
I'm eating beans.

Nissan - loved my 1992 Maxima SE! 2000 Altima is my daily driver.
Chevy - a new Silverado sits in our driveway (and a rusty old Blazer is on the curb)
Whichever isn't doing the 'duh' commercials - how rude.
BMW - 5-series in the garage (usually on blocks, unfortunately.) (We have too many vehicles in our household - a Honda VFR moto is not getting ridden much this winter.)
Chocolate - why even ask?
Chocolate - why even ask?[/QUOTE]
Because even as a chocoholic(think Breyer's chocolate/chocolate chip with brownies/fudge ice cream with extra chips and chocolate or fudge sauce!), I will still enjoy a large bowl of the original Breyer's Vanilla Bean ice cream without toppings every once in a while and find it simply and absolutely delicious.
I love football but, does anyone get a little tired of these bowl games that mean (in my mind anyway) nothing really (just money in pocket of advertisers, etc.)? Even the pro games (especially when your team is bad) seem superfluous this year. New England seems to be light years ahead of everyone else and a sure bet to win it all...I kinda have lost interest...I dunno, basketball is still "alive" for me right now; but futball seems rather boring. Am I feeling the New Year blues???........
I need a Duke game!!!!!
Omg, I haven't laughed so hard in quite awhile.
I'm watching "Superbad," and while I can't recommend it along the lines of any measures of movie quality, but darn, it's hilarious. And, well, the dialog writing is pretty stellar, and the actors are hard not to like, so I guess that counts for something.
If you haven't seen it, and like sophomoric humor (like "clerks" but smarter), go get the DVD!
Does anyone else wish MLK had been born in August?
I've got no problems celebrating his birthday in theory, but c'mon, the last thing I need right now is another day at home with my kids in the freezing cold and snow.
