Can't make this too far back...

cause some of you, I suspect, were not on earth yet.

    Question:

Where were you in July, 1990? And what were you doing?

I'll start it. Fairfax County, Virginia. Married with a stepdaughter. Teaching.
Almost four years from being single again.

Spending the summer nights remodeling stores for a company called PetSmart in the Phoenix, AZ area. This was very early on in the pet warehouse era, PetSmart had been founded 4 years earlier in the Phoenix area.

This was between my freshman and sophmore years at Duke.

Summer 1990, the summer between Duke and law school for me.

    Suddenly feeling quite young

Summer 1990: Just finished with grammar school, so I was probably spending a lot of time at the pool or just hanging out, running in my wheel.

I had finished law school, gotten married, and moved up to Charlottesville with my hubby and 2 cats. It was a good move and a fun summer exploring the mountains. We got lost on the Shenandoah trail.

Summer 1990: I moved to Boston and started my career in health care. Oh, had been out of college for year.

Hijacking this thread for a marathon training and theater report.

    Ran 10 miles this morning.

Took kids to a Harvard basketball game this afternoon. Sadly the Crimson lost in overtime to UC-Irvine. The point guard could not make his free throws down the stretch. Poor kid, he must have missed 5 of them, but it was frustrating to watch.

Held rehearsal for short play festival at my house. I'm not directing the one I wrote, I'm directing one titled Four Extremely Attractive Women Sitting Around Fantasizing About Rich Orloff By Rich Orloff. It's a hoot.

Now I can either bump this thread or collapse in a heap.

whichever DOESN'T have the annoying John Mellencamp song in their commercials
Kia cause I do like that commercial with the couple at the cafe table
BMW cause my neighbor has a BMW convertible and I've never been into cars very much but man, I covet that one
    vanilla

What's the one food you hate that everybody else likes (and thinks you're crazy since you don't like it)? For me, it's chocolate ice cream, can't stand it.

Viagra or Cialis? (You don't really have to answer that one.)

Boxers or briefs? (You don't have to answer that one either.)

1)Toyota - they made better engines at least when I owned one
2)Chevy - Like a Rock, BD could that be the song you are referring to? I don't recall Mellencamp song's but then if it was a Ford commerical so I was ignoring it anyway.(I used to work for part of GM)
    3) Huh? How about neither. They have both vastly improved their product quality and lineups.
4)Again, neither. I go with Audi, which I own.
    5)Chocolate
    6)Beets? Haha, no clue...
7)Whichever is handy...okay, never had the need for either
    8) Boxer-briefs, because I have never been able to make up my mind

One place you would like to spend New Year's that you haven't been to yet...

Own a Honda, Volkswagen, Lexus, and BMW. Too many cars.

Like both chocolate and vanilla, usually go with a vanilla ice cream with stuff in it, like cherry vanilla with almonds.

Haven't tried either Viagra or cialis yet.

Usually cotton boxer briefs during the day and boxers at night. For running I like under armor.
