They have a screened in catio that they like to use during the winter and on summer mornings and evenings. I put some artificial turf out there that the oldest will sleep on for hours.

I had to tell a customer who is sure she is right that she is not right about something today. I generally try to handle this by launching into an explanation so incredibly boring and detailed that it is the written word version of the Bataan Death March with my explanation of why they were wrong hidden deep within the morass of the email. Punishingly intricate is the rule of the day.

I definitely support the use of the term catio. Strong work!

I'm a cat person as well. Grew up with cats and enjoy that they don't need anything.

Like, if Alf knocked on your door and you could only save one from his mandibles, which one would you save?

Would a Texan be worried about Alf showing up?

Audrey is the only of the 4 that keeps my schedule and is never far away. Grant will stay with me whenever I'm not moving and he demands the most attention. Kelly always has to put a paw on me and seeks me out when things scare her or one of the other cats bothers her. Mary is blind and a bit skittish around people and other cats; but if I sit down on the floor she will curl up next to me and won't leave my side.

This is my 9th summer here and this is the most rain I can recall after Labor Day. I like it.

I love Gary Oldman. And Winona Ryder. And Keanu Reeves. But a certain movie is far less entertaining than I remember.

    Edit: And Tom Waits
    Edit: And Anthony Hopkins

How is the trip? I liked Portland's food scene better, but Seattle has world class Asian cuisine and the kids loved that. We ate at Pisco y Nazca (Peruvian) in DC and it was top tier. Amazing ceviche.
