I shall refrain from posting tomato recipes in the The Official Recipe Thread. Though I am a big fan of the 'maters.

Are you responsible for the squirrels that are eating mine? If so, please take them back - I like tomatoes and I'm many miles from you so you don't have to see or eat them.

Squirrels = Rats with fluffy tails

Sorry, squirrels are not under my control, just the weather.

I'm going to a wedding in Maine tomorrow. I've arranged for sunshine so that will be nice.

Perhaps enough rain here would drown them?

This morning it was cool, quite brisk, mid 40's I think. While walking the dogs, I saw the beaver towing a branch across the pond.

You miss those moments walking the cats.

Not really, I'm still in bed asleep.

The Beaver? What's he doing in CT?

But I gave them specific instructions not to release you until the weekend was over.

    Smile The Chase

Another weekend for me NOT to win in the DBR NASCAR pool. I'm holding down 2nd, with Tilly in the lead.

I won't go with Junior this week. Who will win at Dover?

Is it time for a major upset?

    I sure hope so!
    Cheers,

Man, for the first time in quite awhile, I'm bummed there isn't a Duke football game today. It's a grey, rainy Saturday here, perfect stay-inside-and-follow-football day (the first of many to come), and I really want to cheer on my Devils.

Sunny but not too warm here, I am stuck watching VT(yuck!) lead UNC(double yuck) in the 4th. Okay, truth be told I'm watching Ryder Cup.
