A musical based on a true story - always fun.

Marvin Zindler, Eyewitness News, was on the air when I lived in Houston. He shut down the Chicken Ranch. Dom DeLuise played his character in the movie - Melvin P. Thorpe.

Houston is a GREAT food city. I am an absolute sucker for musicals. I just love the idea of a spontaneous song where everyone just happens to know the chorus. So much happens and is decided in every song.

Houston is a giant, sprawling, smeared suburban-bonanza wasteland.

    It's also where I'm from.

I hear it is nice in August at least.

Whoa there sailor. I just said the food was great. I stand by that assertion.

I've been to Houston twice in my life. I'm not saying I'd never go back, but I'm not in a hurry.

The most humid place I've ever visited...it was uncomfortable even at 65 degrees...

I thought I was the one who cared about everything more than anyone else cared about anything. Are we switching this up? Warn a guy.

I know you can cook a turkey by smoking it — but can you cook one by sweating it in humidity?

    Does Houston have a snood?

  14. #34474
When we first moved there, we signed up for pest control since it was recommended. After a few times, my mother asked the tech if it was really necessary. His response was "Lady, they have everything going for them".

I always told my parents that I hated Houston for a month - and that last week was work. Moved often enough through college years to realize there is no reason to hate where you live. Just meet people, make new friends, and all will be good.

I retain the right to offer irrational hot takes as I deem appropriate.

I think you can cure it by slathering it in petrochemicals, which is the preferred pickling method of many in the Houston region.

That's why there is the LTE. (Or any other of a few hundred threads.)

I act the same way everywhere, to the chagrin of many I assume.

Do they even make good musicals these days?

I thought Hamilton had the highest degree of difficulty of any musical I have ever seen and that they hit every single mark perfectly. I would like to know Boston Devil's thoughts on this. I am by no means someone who knows anything other than what I enjoy.
