This sounds suspiciously like an opinion.

When I am back in the office on a Monday and people ask me, "How was your weekend?", I say "Uneventful." They say, "Oh, I'm sorry!" I say, "No, uneventful is quite good, actually."

Homemade granola made. Now on to my budding interest but complete inability as a digital video editor.

I spent yesterday afternoon with family. Nephew Alex is in town from SC - so good to see him.

The team of Nephew Alex, Nephew John, and Aunt Barbara kicked but in Snooker last night.

My pool table sadly has turned into a storage unit.

Our pool table got a lot of use in the spring and summer. Not so much this school year, alas.

Are any of the kids taking geometry? Isn't billiards/pool/snooker a great way to learn about angles?

Geometry was years ago for them. But the angles and spins are still fun.

Takeout pizza and Duke basketball on TV. Ideal winter weekend with or without a pandemic.

Gin and mint chocolate. Two things I do not like.

Fine tequila, sipped slowly with an ocean view, is a higher pursuit.

I know gin is not for many; happy to do the fine tequila thing (two bottles of Patron lurk) but the ocean is 200 miles away, will have to settle for a mountain view (with optional snow on top).

Yup. Just don't do the unique juniper berry and alcohol flavor. Gets up in my nose in an unpleasant way.
