Q: how did the hipster burn his mouth?

A: he ate pizza before it was cool.

Watched the SNL premiere and was not impressed. I've always enjoyed SNL, even recent years when many folks started to think it went way south compared to earlier eras, and usually find a skit or a few jokes laugh out loud funny. This one wasn't and it was mostly the writing. Criminal they couldn't do more with Carrey's Biden or Chris Rock...though Rock's monologue wasn't great either.

I'm not up late enough to watch and I don't have a DVR these days.

Repetition is the key to humor.

    Or so I always say.

Here we go again! Embrace the autumn beauty and be cheerful!

Let's all see what new wonders and blessings we can discover in this beautiful life!

    Shelve the cat videos though.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

And now Delta is official. Looks like Gamma is going to keep it away from Central Texas and make it a LA, MS event.

In celebration of Autumn, I present my "Spring Project". Finally competed this weekend... delayed due to the pandemic and the sudden loss (non-COVID) of a sibling helpmate.

You know, the hardest thing for me to come to grips with in my adult life is that if I were someone who grew up in rural Oklahoma, I would have been a Socs. I would like to think I would have been a Greaser but I definitely wouldn't have.

Condolences on the loss of your sibling.

Very nice, did you do all the framing yourself? Any plans to stain it, etc.?

I have a small shed I really need to finish.
