Well worth the time (you can skip the first 1:10 or so if you are impatient):

Would you consider working remotely in Barbados for a year (assuming the type of work you do is remote workplace friendly)?

My mom is the HR Manager for a high end furniture manufacturer in Hickory. I get stupid nice hook-ups. I'll ask her what they have tomorrow and see if I can get you the mattman special

I have no idea if they make outdoor furniture, but won't hurt to ask.

Woo Hoo! How is amusedcupcake doing?

Might not make her feel better, when my father had his gall bladder removed, he came home with a nice zipper scar.

An interesting wrinkle. I enjoy driving more than being a passenger. I can appreciate those that prefer to ride.

More than Barbados though, I have a dream of living in Scotland for a year. (I'd settle for 6 months.) I have decided that once we are on the other side of this pandemic, I really should do something to make it happen.

It’s a real thing, Barbados is offering year long visas in exchange for a commitment to live there for the year.

I believe the USD is 2x Barbados currency.

I don't really like driving although I have been told by more than one person that I am a good driver.

She is doing well. A little sore, but she is a trooper!

I can’t find the article (it’s actually a beautiful read), the world’s most remote bar is in Scotland.
Apparently the easy way is by boat.
The respected way is a multi day hike through the Highlands.

I believe a manual transmission makes any car enjoyable to drive.

Grew up driving a slow car fast. Have, on occasion, driven a fast car slow. I'd have to say the former, pushing a slow car to it's outer limits is kinda fun. Grannying a fast car is boring.
