I'm trying to figure out what day I should have them. I eat some fruit for breakfast which has a limited shelf life. Meal planning has become a significant activity for me during these times.

Feels like I should cut my hair again. Is this becoming an obsession?

he'll be totally fine assuming he is still at UVM...a robust but fast moving storm...southern part of the state had a lot of power outages, but not up here.

Despite what some people think, we are not immune from hurricane (or subsequent tropical storm) damage..a few years ago Irene did more than a billion dollars damage here, epic flooding in southern VT and impressive
flooding in Waterbury (aptly named) where the state office complex got wiped out.

If anyone uses Bank of America on line banking, be aware that they’re having system problems. I logged on and all of my accounts showed “low funds” and $0.00 balance. A call to them alleviated my fears, as they assured me my funds were still there and they were working to repair their system.

They shouldn’t do that to an old man. I didn’t have heart problems before, but I may have now!

No BofA here, but I do have a BofA Merrill account.

My wife gets an almost daily Wells Fargo scam note, telling her to gather up her credit card and then give them a call, because an evildoer may be charging stuff to her account.
Alas, she has no Wells Fargo account.

Yep, I get the Wells Fargo scams, BofA scams, Chase scams, and a few others. Bunch of crooks out there.

I recently started using Babbel to learn Spanish. It’s a great app. Very much enjoying it and making quick progress!

Worked with Habitat for Humanity today. We worked on getting the trusses up to the roof so that they could be installed. Those puppies are heavy. Fortunately, there were some other volunteers to help our group with them so we made pretty good work with it. I think we got them up and the others installed as fast as if they had brought a crane to lift them up. Bonus - got to try out the nail gun on some of the outside walls.
