Y'know that's true. I often reflect upon how magnanimous and practically noble I feel towards my fellow humans. Thanks for the reminder

Scientists say it is flat as a pancake but they haven't ridden it on a bicycle. I swear I rode up a hill for 10 miles but it wasn't downhill on the way back. Now I know what my dad meant when he said he walked uphill through the snow both ways.

( I note that in fact the highest point is but 400 ft. lower elevation than Vermont's...shows what i know)
Biking Across Kansas goes west to east because it is downhill and the prevailing winds are from the west. I did BAK 17 times and can count on one hand the number of days with a tailwind.

I got a certificate from the Brigham today to honor my hard work during the pandemic.

So, I've got that going for me. Turns out just being willing to work graveyard shifts even when they don't end up needing you after all gets you on the "good list".

    Happy July!

Anybody doing anything for the 4th? I might get together with a friend and have a glass of wine on her back deck sitting an appropriate distance apart.

With blueberries? The best you can get is a bread pudding with lemon/blueberry sauce.

Smoke some meat. Kayak. Fish. Swim.

Probably enjoy an adult beverage or three.

I'm kind of getting that late August feeling that it's time to go back to school. The covid has lengthened out this endless summer.
