I did a couple pages of vague posting without much a peep out of anyone.

Oh yeah? Care to share? I seem to recall you've owned/managed several already.

Several is a stretch, but I've been running a successful business in Asheville for about ten years. Considering a new phase and cashing out.

Dumpster fire is the phrase that comes to mind...

A Billy Idol song also comes to mind.

My nephew John turns 50 today. It is really nice that the city is throwing him a parade.

It will be snowy and chilly along the parade route but that doesn't appear to be stopping people.

Just finished watching parts of the parade and all of the events on the stage in front of Union Station. Fun times were had by all. It will be interesting to hear how many were in the crowd today vs the Royals World Series parade in 2015.

Once pulled into the parking lot of a yarn shop with my younger two sons in the car (a yarn shop I had never been to before so it was absolutely necessary that I check it out). They complained, of course, and asked, "Don't you have enough yarn?" I pointed to the sign conveniently place beside the door to the shop

    Yarn
A noun to which the modifier enough does not apply.

I watched about 5 minutes of the halftime show, checked the score once, then checked back to see if it was over yet just in time to see Kansas City score that last touchdown. I thought of DinK and was happy for her.

I think we're holding steady in our lead.
