Though I will admit to certain stylistic limits. He may not be the best for a rendition of Frosty the Snowman. But then maybe...

    Bing Crosby is Christmas.

    Open concept

    Modern
    Contemporary
Add the full "entertaining friends and family" and you've won yourself a trip to the ER. I think I've watched thousands on House Hunters and that phrase alone has dissuaded us from too much family interaction.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

    Indeed.

But, do yourself a favor and listen to Blind Boys Of Alabama Christmas album and you might find yourself with damp eyes. They're darned good, too.

Bob Dylan's Christmas album ("Christmas in the Heart") is a thing.

It took me years to find a recording of his duet with David Bowie. One of my favorites.

I've seen them in concert but haven't thought about a Christmas album by them - I must shop.

My favorite Christmas CD is Good News by Kathy Mattea. Not a single "traditional" carol on it. I confess to listening to it anytime of year. Unfortunately, it was stuck in the CD player of the car I traded in. I need to replace it.

I have a lot of stuff from back in the day when Napster, Grokster, WinMX, etc. were things. Mainly stuff that was unobtainable commercially like live concert stuff. The Bowie-Crosby Little Drummer Boy was one of those items...

The video is on YouTube. As is a version of the same song by Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly.

Well, nothing like shooting first and getting details later.

Then again, nothing like sticking your hand into a jacket pocket and finding $23!

    Preferably your own pocket, though.

I mean, don't post needlessly to get to a prime. Certainly don't waste a prime.
