Good vibes for tomorrow morning appreciated. Something that should be routine, but you never go wrong with extra vibes.

Thanks, all! SonPK had a routine medical procedure this morning — but those are never routine to a parent. Docs located the problem; fix should be routine.

    Much appreciation to all y’all.

Glad things appear to be working out. Hope the fix is truly routine.

Man, you must really like it down there. I haven't spent any significant time there. I did drive through it once. Seemed like a beautiful place.

I'm about ready to move away from Asheville too... probably next summer.

Turns out I have a high school friend in the outdoor industry here. Sometimes things happen fast.

Attention moderators, related to vBulletin software:

If you run vBulletin forum software I would urgently take it offline until there’s a patch. There’s a ‘zero day’ exploit actively being used in the wild for widespread exploitation.

It’s remote unauthenticated code execution, and a really (really) baffling bug being exploited. There’s possibly an argument it’s a bugdoor, they just have an exec() in the code with user input.

The paragraphs above are from an infosec professional.

Don’t really want DBR affected or the community impacted.

    From ZDnet:

The only good news is that this zero-day only works against vBulletin 5.x forum versions. Forums running earlier versions are safe, if running up-to-date security patches.

DBR is on Version 4.2.5 according to the footer on each page.
