I suddenly find myself blinded by a heavy metal kick. Like, I can't get enough of Black Sabbath and Megadeth and the like. This is quite out of character with regard to my traditional musical tastes, but I am enjoying it. My wife (and my hearing)? Maybe not so much...

Music is about the mood. I haven't been angry in quite some time so haven't listened to the music of my youth in a couple decades.

Sometimes, the best therapy in life is driving with the music cranked up to an indecent level.

I work from home and usually play one album on repeat for the week.

It was Metallica's Master of Puppets last week... maybe you are picking up metal vibes from me? I think we are both in Atlanta, if I am not mistaken.
Hard at work making beautiful things.

Other times, the best therapy in life is singing the lullabies you used to rock the young'uns to sleep, now that they're all growed up and out in the world.

Spending a week in care of a nine year old. A novelty for me.

I hate when you hear someone has passed away a month after the fact - and he was way too young. Didn't get to spend enough time enjoying his retirement. Sometimes, it just sucks.

That happened here at work with someone who retired about 2 months ago at the age of 61. She had worked for the company for nearly 40 years.

I hear carp are good fish to eat. I haven't had much fish lately, an occasional sushi session. I'm more in to shellfish.

Strange. I don't eat carp often, but I am frequently told I am full of carp.
