No, I think it's been assimilated. It seems every tavern or eatery I wander into these days has a sriracha something-or-other on the menu.

In other news, yesterday we moved the youngest Turk, Sunshine, into her dorm at Pitt. The roost is now empty, at least until Thanksgiving.

First day back at work in a week and a half, and I feel like a new hire. I am seriously having a hard time figuring out what I should be doing...

If you have a personality so difficult for even me to work with, you are probably an a-hole.

And wow, Jack White in person brought memories of Prince, albeit this is heavy rock and roll and not as funk-fused. White is fabulous on the piano, too.

What a blast. Detroit and it's music!!!

    I've found my newest crush!
Saw The Raconteurs last night at The Tabernacle here in Atlanta.

Great, great, great show. It is clearly Jack's band, and Jack is really one of the last remaining stewards of rock.

They did a fun medley with some OutKast thrown in, as a nod to Atlanta. Very loud, very high energy. Worth every penny.

Silent nays don’t count. Unless it’s the disapproving silent stare of your wife. In which case, democracy dies.

Tried the Popeye's chicken sandwich after hearing about it all week. Bought one from Chick-fil-A to compare. Never realized how small Chick-fil-A sandwiches are.

I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, it is usually Chick Fil A. When it isn't, it's probably a Cajun Filet biscuit from Bojangles.

    How was the Popeyes sandwich?

I have fast food, maybe once a month. Hadn't been to Chick-fil-A in about a year.

The Popeyes sandwich is much crispier, larger, and a tad more dry. Enjoyed it. Would consider it heavily the next time I wanted fast food chicken.
