    We had some flash flooding in areas near me yesterday. I didn't run the sprinklers yesterday which is about a $12.50 savings. Yes, we pay to have green lawns here in SA.

    I allow acts of nature to dictate the hue of my grass. Largely because my yard is so sloped, mowing it less often feels like a gift.

    I had a lot of branches come down over the last week. We've had wicked hard rain and winds in squall lines about every afternoon.

    I don't have much grass, but have lots of pine and some hardwood. Low maintenance except when it isn't.
