Neighbor shoveled our shared driveway this morning. Always interesting to see steam rising off the driveway when it is 14 degrees out.

Did shovel my front walk. The way the wind blew, I had 4-18 inches and my other neighbor had about an inch.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Prayers and vibes from Kansas that things start looking up quickly.

Bit of a sore throat this morning. Worried a cold might be coming.

I think today might be the day to burn my red shirt.

Nothing good happens to the guys in red shirts. Don't know why they beam down.

Because the trust Scottie to beam them back up before it is too late?

I'm confused by that thread - did we win? How was the game? Hasn't most of the thread been a discussion of Joey, who didn't play much in the game? Who knew that Saturday to Tuesday would be so long?

That's very cool Ymo! Never knew about the red shirt.
I was at Arlington Cemetery last Friday. What a majestic, monumental place. Everything slows down and life looks so much more precious.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Being a veteran and working for a large veteran owned organization, I get to see many reminders of the heroic sacrifices made on behalf of our great nation. It is often humbling. What struck me about Arlington when I was there years ago was as you note the stillness. Every motion/movement takes on extra emphasis.

It is very humbling to be there.

You may have hear this before but, if not, here is Trace Adkins singing Arlington. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJO7lJIxG10
